Rental Terms & Conditions
Self Driven
All rates are quoted local currency
(Ringgit Malaysia) with unlimited mileage and cover of full 24-hour
rental. The rates include vehicle insurance, maintenance, and
5% government service tax but exclusive of fuel (petrol / diesel). A
minimum charge is one day rental. Excess hour is calculated at
one-fifth (1/5) of the vehicle daily rate.
Driver's License and Limit
Driver must produce a current local or valid driving license from
his/her own country or a valid international driving license held
for at least 2 (two) years. Drivers must be between ages of 23 to 60
years old.
Insurance Coverage
The renter will be responsible for the full cost of damage if the
vehicle is driven in violation of the Rental Agreement, is abused or
driven recklessly or while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The first RM 1,500.00 for Saloon Cars and RM 2,500.00 for 4WD are
not waiver able. Renters are reminded that overhead and
undercarriage damage howsoever caused is at the renter's risk.
Windscreen and riot are not covered. For Saloon cars and other
4WD drivers, all insurance is VOID if such vehicle are driven over
unpaved roads, off roads, or in contravention of our terms and
conditions. Any missing items/accessories in the vehicle are
not covered.
Terms of Payment
Extra Rent-A-Car Sdn Bhd prefers and accepts all major credit cards
- American Express, Master Card, Visa and JCB. Should payment
is made in cash, the estimated rental charges of the period of use
plus a refundable deposit of RM 100.00 is payable upon receiving the
car. The final adjustment will be made on the completion of
the rental.
Extension of Rental
Should renter wishes to extend the rental beyond the agreed
termination date, it is important that the renting station be
advised immediately and the required advancement paid so that the
insurance coverage could be extended. Failure to do so may be
considered driving the vehicle without any insurance coverage.
Fuel
All cars are furnished with full tanks of premium graded fuel.
Cars must be returned with full tanks of fuel or refilling will be
at the Renter's expense based on our estimated cost of fuel.
Delivery and Collection
Extra Rent-A-Car Sdn Bhd impose NO DELIVERY OR COLLECTION FEE for
all cars delivered or collected within the city limit (15 KM radius
of the renting station). For all delivery or collection
outside the city area, a minimum surcharge of RM 50.00 PER WAY will
be charged.
Parking Fees and Traffic Fines
These are the responsibilities of the renter.
- For overnight usage, food and lodging of the Chauffer is to be
borne by the renter.
- Chauffer driven coaches are available upon request, with daily,
weekly & monthly leasing options.
- All transfer rates are normal from 0700 hrs to 2200 hrs only.
- Transfers from 2201 hrs to 0659 hrs, rates are DOUBLE for all
transfers within the city limit (15 km of the renting station) and
50% ADDITIONAL for all transfers outside the city area.
